The Armenian Bioinformatics Institute (ABI) is pleased to announce the opening of its first dedicated office space.
An old animal facility at the Institute of Molecular Biology has been completely renovated and transformed into a modern, comfortable, and transparent environment designed to support both our research and training activities. The new space includes open work areas, designated zones for rest, discussion, and brainstorming, as well as multiple meeting, seminar, and conference rooms.
This renovation was made possible through the generous support of the H. Hovnanian Family Foundation, Adobe Armenia, several anonymous donors, and ABI’s own funds generated through collaborations with biotechnology companies.
We extend our sincere appreciation to Semyon Barseghyan and Karine Nersisyan for their in-kind contribution in designing and supervising the renovation process. Our gratitude also goes to Armen Simonyan, Nera Project, Nor Tun, ThermoAr, NarProf, Security Systems, and other partners for providing materials and services at discounted rates.
We are also thankful to the Institute of Molecular Biology for its continuous support throughout this initiative.
This new office represents a significant milestone for ABI, and we are confident that the improved environment will further enhance our capacity for innovation, collaboration, and scientific advancement.
We invite our colleagues and partners to view the before-and-after photos and the short video reel below for a glimpse into our new space. Visitors are always welcome — we would be delighted to host you at our new home.
