Applications are now open for the Introduction to Statistics bridge course at the Armenian Bioinformatics Institute.
This course is intended for beginners who would like to build foundational knowledge in statistics for data analysis. It is taught by Alisa Davtyan and covers core statistical concepts along with basic practical applications.
The course will take place from April 16 to May 7, 2026, with classes held Tuesdays and Thursdays from 19:00 to 20:30 at ABI, Yerevan, Armenia. The application deadline is April 12.
The program includes topics such as descriptive statistics, probability theory, and inferential statistics, including confidence intervals, hypothesis testing, and p-values. Participants will also be introduced to data analysis in Python, using libraries such as Statsmodels, Pandas, and Seaborn.
Basic Python knowledge is desirable.
